Alyssa and I were pondering dinner options last night, when I was informed that my favorite local pizzeria, Posto, had a sister restaurant in the West Village where I could satisfy my craving for Shroomtown.
Spunto is located on Carmine and 7th Avenue, a perfect location to start the night. The decor and atmosphere of Spunto is more warm and cozy than the others, with an great wine bar and brick oven right in the middle. After dinner you can pop over to Little Branch or Daddy O's for some retro mixology.
